Educational Qualification Details :

Candidates must have completed a course of at least one year and passed the ITI in any of the following trades from a Government recognized institute:

Mechanic Motor Vehicle
Mechanic Diesel
General Mechanic
Fitter / Turner
Electrician
Sheet Metal Worker
Auto Mobile Body Repairer
Welder / Welder cum Fabricator
Machinist / Carpenter
Painter General / Auto Mobile Painter Repairer

Note: Preference will be given to candidates who have completed an Apprenticeship in the relevant trade in a Government or Semi-Government undertaking.

Age Limit :

Minimum Age: 18 Years
Maximum Age: 35 Years

Selection Process :

The selection will be based on a weighted merit system totaling 100 marks, distributed as follows:

ITI Marks Weightage: 55 Marks (Based on percentage obtained in ITI).
Apprenticeship Weightage: 15 Marks (For those who completed relevant apprenticeship).
Competitive Written Test (OMR): 30 Marks.

Candidates must score a minimum of 40% in the OMR-based competitive exam to be considered for the merit list.
